This well made oud, with stave construction and bracing under the soundboard, is very simple in decorations.
The three oval sound holes are rimed in plain wood inlays, and the soundboard is finished.
There are twelve ebony pegs and twelve strings in six courses of two each (two nylon, four nylon wound and six metal (bronze) wound.
The bridge is free floating.
The nut to bridge measures approximately 25 inches.
The classic teardrop shaped body has a faux wood grain finished in a rich deep mahogany brown color.
Overall dimensions are approximately 32 x 14 x 8 inches.
Oud includes extra string set, oud pick and case.
The case has three locks and a hand grip, vinyl outside and cloth inside. |
